I do have one quick question of the VIP. The CTBID current agenda is calling for an 'identity' for Carlsbad, because a survey of travelers said we don't really have one, beyond Legoland. Last favorite I read was "California's friendliest beach town", or words to that effect.
My question is, what's wrong with the one my family fell in love with: "Carlsbad, Village by the Sea"?
I hope this board will investigate why we would overlook or change an already very good, unique and memorable identifier for our city.
