Council Candidate Farrah Douglas Meets CVBA Members

Carlsbad City Planning Commissioner and City Council Candidate, Farrah Douglas, today appeared before members of the Carlsbad Village Business Association at it's May membership meeting, held at the New Village Arts Theater. The hour-long presentation gave Ms. Douglas the opportunity to share her vision for the Village and to answer questions from the audience.

I remember the last election and the election before that when the mayor said he would do something to support the Bario but nothing ever happened. How can we be sure that indications of interest are to be believed? Haven't we been neglected, forgotten and left to fend for ourselves in the Village?

If you're a property owner in "Old Carlsbad"? Where have you been?
We've been meeting and working with city for the last two years -the mayor, council and staff are pro-active and have been very supportive. Times and dates of meetings were posted in the NC Times, come out and join us? or contact me @ 760-730-9129

Farrah Douglas has my support for city council, she is a person you can believe in. She is a candidate with the knowledge to make the changes needed not just for the Village or Old Carlsbad but for the city of Carlsbad.

Call me & get involve!

Running a shop, making payroll, paying your own health care and planing your own retirement... these are the things Farrah understands. I made an immediate connection with Farrah when we had lunch last month.

The ability to set goals and see them through without compromising ones values is Farrah Douglass.

Not only does she have the support of Mayor Lewis, Ann Kulchin and Julie Nygaard... she won't have to abstain from voting on village issues.

Thank you Farrah for investing your time and energy to represent ME. You have my vote.

"Thank you Farrah for including the oldest neighborhood in Carlsbad, "Barrio Carlsbad," in your presentation.
It is a shame that so much history and culture is slowly being lost.
You are the first candidate who has taken the time to visit and talk with the residents of our community.
You have taken the time to sit down and listen to our concerns, and for that we are grateful."
